RESOLUTION N0. 6515u90 <br /> <br />BY: Gazzana, Graham, Roth, Smith <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION to commend Eric Benz, Jr~ for his public <br /> service as a member of the Tax Abatement Housing Council. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Tax Abatemen~ Housing Council, dependent <br />on the commitment of its citizen members, administers the City's <br />tax abatement program, providing incentives for those citizens <br />who invest in the improvement and upkeep of their homes; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Eric Benz, Jr. has served the City of Lakewood <br />admirably as a member of the Tax Abatemen~ Housing Council for <br />two consecutive three years 5erms for a total of six years, <br />including serving as that Council's Chairman; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, during his 5enure Eric Benz, Jr. has <br />demonstrated a sincere interest in the preservation and <br />improvement of the housing stock of our community; and <br /> <br /> W~{EREAS, it is fitting and proper that the public <br />service rendered byErie Benz, Jr. be given public cognizance and <br />recognition; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CI~f OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1, That the Council and the Mayor of the City <br />of Lakewood extend to Eric Benz, Jr. its appreciation and that of <br />all the citizens of this con~unity for his valued and dedicated <br />public service as a member of the Tax Abatement Housing Council, <br />and further, that this Council and Mayor wish him continued <br />success. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she is <br />hereby authorized and directed to forward a certifie~ copy of <br />this resolution to Eric Benz, Jr., 15515 Clifton Boulevard, <br />Lakewood, Ohio 44107~ and that a copy ~lution be <br />spread upon the minutes of this meeting. <br /> <br /> <br />
