RESOLUTION NO.: 6556-91 BY: Boscia, Gallagher, Gazzana, George, Graham, Roth, Smith AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing the Director of Public Works to advertise for bids for the purchase of the Fireworks Program for July 4, 1991 and to enter into a contract with the lowest and best bidder after advertising as provided by law. WHEREAS, this Resolution consititutes an emergency measure in that it is essential to bid such contracts at the earliest possible time and in that it provides for the health, safet~ and welfare as well as the regular operation of a municipal department; now, therefore: BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That the Director of Public Works be and he is hereby authorized and directed to advertise for bids as provided by law for the fireworks program for July 4, 1991. Section 2. That subject to appropriation in the Annual Budget for the City of Lakewood, the Director of Public Works be and he is hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract for the purchase of said fireworks display program with the lowest and best bidder after advertising as provided by law. Section 3, It is found and determined that all formal actions of this council concerning and relating to the passage of this Resolution were adopted in an open meeting of this council, and that all such deliberations of this Council and of any of its committees that resulted in such formal action were in meetings open to the public in compliance with all legal requirements. upon its adoption and effect and be in force after the~ Section 4.
