RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />6559-91 <br /> <br />BY: Bosnia, Gallagher, <br /> Gazzana, George, Graham, <br /> Roth, Smith <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION authorizing the payment of an incentive <br />award in the amount of $500.00 to City of Lakewood employee Mary <br />M. Udell. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Ordinance 92-83 adopted March 19, <br />1984, the City established an Incentive Awards Program for all <br />employees of the City of Lakewood including foreman, but <br />excluding all other managerial staff; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mary M. Udell, an employee of the Division of <br />Building Inspection, Department of Public Safety, suggested and <br />improved the issuance of contractor registration and licensing <br />which will be more efficient and cost effective to the Division <br />of Building Inspection and other departments throughout the City; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the suggestion of Ms. Udell will result in <br /> substantial financial savings to the City of Lakewood and these <br /> '.~a~i~ ~wi~l '~conti~e :into-:The~ :.~utu~e,, ~ ~a monetarF a~ard has <br />~.been ~ .~nde~:by '. the' ;Incentive Award~.'iCommi~tee ,and approved <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, ~his ~esOlution <br />providing ::~'~or 'the usual daily <br />department;-now, therefore, <br /> <br /> '~onst/tut, es ;~an!.emergency <br />operation oE:a .~muni=ipal <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD STATE OF"OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That this Council and the Mayor, pursuant <br />to Ordinance 92-83 adopted March 19, 1984, hereby approve and <br />authorize a payment in the amount of $500.00 to City of Lakewood <br />employee Mary'M. Udell through the Incentiv. e .Awards Programof <br />the City and ~ongratulate her for her significant contribution to <br />the welfare of .the. City. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the Director of 'Finance is!~hereby <br />authorized and directed to pay to Mary M. Udell the sum of <br />$500.00 and to charge same to the General Fund. <br /> <br /> Section 3. That this resolution is hereby declared to <br />be an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble <br />hereof and provided it receives the affirmative vote of <br />two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take <br />effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval <br />by the Mayor; otherwise, it shall take effect and be in force <br />after the earliest <br /> <br />ADOPTED: <br /> <br />APPROVED: <br /> <br /> <br />
