RESOLUTION NO. 6560-91 BY: Boscia, Gallagher, Gazzana, George, Graham, Roth, Smith AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing the printing, publi- shing and distribution to the Council of the City~ of a Financial Status Report, under the supervision and direction of the Director of Finance, and hereby repealing Resolution No. 5494-80. WHEREAS, Article VIII, Section 3 of the Amended Charter of the City of Lakewood provides for the Director of Finance to periodically report the recorded facts and to show the full effect of transactions for each fiscal year or part of a fiscal year, the finances of the City in relation to each department of the City government, and WHEREAS, each month a detailed, voluminous and full financial status report in accordance with Article VIII, Section 3, is distributed to each member of City Council, and WHEREAS, this Council determines that it would be in the best interests of the City to furnish a lesser amount of copied paper constituting this monthly status report, such lesser amount being six-sevenths (6/7) less affecting a yearly savings of approxi- mately $1,310.00, an amount which does not include the time-saving factor, and WHEREAS, Council is desirous that one (1) set of the monthly Financial Status Report continue to be printed, published and distributed to be placed on file in the Offices of Council for official and public reference, and WHEREAS, in keeping with the spirit of the intent of Article VIII, Section 3 of the Amended Charter of the City of Lakewood coupled with the responsibilities of public access and energy and resource conservation, this resolution constitutes an emergency measure providing for the immediate preservation of the public health, safety and welfare and for the usual daily operation of a municipal department; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That the Director of Finance is hereby authorized to print, publish, and distribute to the Council of the City of Lakewood a monthly financial status report to be placed on file in the Offices of Council, lateral file of the Clerk's Office, which reports the recorded facts and shows the full effect of transactions for each fiscal year or part of a fiscal year, the finanaces of the City in relation to each department of the City government. Section 2.
