RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />6584-91 <br /> <br /> BY: Gallagher, Gazzana, <br />George, Graham, Roth, Smith <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION'to commend St. Luke's eighth grade basketball <br /> team for their outstanding athletic achievement during the 1990-1991 <br />grade ~chool basketball season. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, St. Luke's basketball team, more popularly known as <br />the Crusaders, recently won the 1991 Catholic Youth Organization <br />Diocese of Cleveland basketball tournament in a 40-36 win over St. <br />Timothy's, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, by these outstanding accomplishments, St. Luke's <br />basketball team, coached by Mike Saracusa and Russ Eckles, have <br />brought due recognition and honor, not only to themselves, but to the <br />Lakewood community as well and these accomplishments should be recog- <br />nized in a proper and fitting manner; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the City of Lakewood extends to St. Luke's <br />basketball team its congratulations and the congratulations of all of <br />the citizens of this community for its outstanding athletic achieve- <br />ment during the 1990-1991 grade school basketball season. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby <br />'authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of this Resolution <br />to St. Luke's School, 13889 Clifton Boulevard,.
