RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />6601-91 <br /> <br /> BY: Boscia, Gallagher, <br />George, Graham, Roth, Smith <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION authorizing the payment of an incentive <br />award in the amount of $500.00 to City of Lakewood employee Fred <br />W. Westberg. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Ordinance 92-83 adopted March 19, <br />1984, the City established an Incentive Awards Program for all <br />employees of the City of Lakewood including foreman, but <br />excluding all other managerial staff; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Fred W. Westberg, <br />Department of Public Works, has suggested <br />telephone charges; and <br /> <br />an employee of the <br />a method of reducing <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the suggestion of Mr. Westberg will result in <br />savings approximating $35,000 over a five year period to the City <br />of Lakewood and a monetary award has been recommended by the <br />Incentive Awards Committee and approved by the Mayor; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this resolution <br />providing for the usual daily <br />department; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> constitutes an emergency <br />operation of a municipal <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That this Council and the Mayor, pursuant to <br />Ordinance 92-83 adopted March 19, 1984, hereby approve and <br />authorize a payment in the amount of $500.00 to City of Lakewood <br />employee Fred W. Westberg through the Incentive Awards Program of <br />the City and congratulate him for his significant contribution to <br />the welfare of the City. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the Director of Finance <br />authorized and directed to pay to Fred W. Westberg <br />$500.00 and to charge same to the General Fund. <br /> <br /> is hereby <br />the sum of <br /> <br /> Section 3. That this resolution is hereby declared to <br />be an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble <br />hereof and provided it receives the affirmative vote of <br />two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take <br />effect and be in force immediately upon its adop~ie~d~ be inappr°valforce <br />by the Mayor; otherwise, it shall ~ e~ an~and <br />after the earliest period allowed b~ ~j <br /> <br /> MAYOR ~ <br /> <br /> <br />
