RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />6608~91 <br /> <br /> BY: Boscia, Gallagher, <br />Gazzana, George, Graham, Roth, Smith <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION commending Firefighter <br />Flaesgarten; <br /> <br />1st Grade Kevin <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on Saturday June 22, 1991 at BeaVer Park North <br />Marina, Lorain, Ohio, while off duty, Firefighter Kevin <br />Flaesgarten witnessed a male in his 50's having a heart attack <br />and Kevin along with his wife, Judy and an unidentified male <br />administered CPR for approximately 45 minutes; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, as a result of these actions which were <br />undertaken with skill and persistence, the victim was transported <br />to Lorain Community Hospital where he is recovering; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Kevin's heroic efforts were <br />responsible for saving a life at Beaver Park North <br />Lorain, Ohio; and ~ <br /> <br /> directly <br />Marina in <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Kevin's actions exemplify and target the <br />highest standards and mission statement of the Lakewood Fire <br />Department in its efforts to safeguard life and property; now, <br />therefore, <br /> <br />BE IS RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That this Council and the Mayor, hereby <br />extend to Firefighter 1st Grade Kevin Flaesgarten its <br />commendation, and that of all the citizens of the Lakewood <br />community for his heroic efforts on June 22, 1991 at Beaver Park <br />North Marina, Lorain, Ohio. <br /> <br />Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she is <br />hereby authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of <br />this Resolution to Firefighter 1st Grade Kevin Flaesgarten, <br />1527 Orchard Grove, Lakewood, Ohio 44107, and th~ copy of this <br />Resolution be spread upon the mi of the <br /> <br /> !
