RESOLUTION NO. 6613-91 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION <br /> <br />commending <br /> <br />BY: Boscia, Gallagher, Gazzana, <br /> George, Graham, Roth, Smith <br /> <br />Ta~wo~d C4 + 4 z~n Judy <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on Saturday June 22, 1991 at Beaver Park North <br />Marina, Lorain, Ohio, Judy Flaesgarten, a registered nurse, and <br />her husband, Kevin a Lakewood Fire Fighter witnessed a male in his <br />50's having a heart attack and Judy along with her husband Kevin <br />and an unidentified male administered. CPR for approximately 45 <br />minutes; and <br /> WHEREAS, as a result of these actions which were <br />undertaken with skill and persistence, the victim was transported <br />to Lorain Community Hospital where he has since recovered; and <br /> WHEREAS, Judy's heroic efforts, her quick-thinking, <br /> skillful administration of CPR and other nursing skills were <br /> directly responsible for saving a life at Beaver park North Marina <br /> in Lorain, Ohio; and <br /> WHEREAS, Judy's daily devotion and dedication to her <br /> life's work; the care and preservation of other's lives, make her <br /> an exemplary Lakewood citizen; now <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> Section !. That this Council and the Mayor, hereby <br /> extend to Judy Flaesgarten its commendation, and that of all the <br /> citizens of the Lakewood community for her heroic efforts on June <br /> 22, 1991 at Beaver park North Marina, Lorain, Ohio. <br /> Section 2.
