RESOLUTION NO. 6619-91 <br /> <br />BY: <br /> <br />Boscia, Gallagher, Gazzana, <br />George, Graham, Roth, Smith <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION extending congratulations <br />Peter S. Voytko Sr. on the celebration of their <br />Anniversary. <br /> <br />to Mr. and Mrs. <br />Golden Wedding <br /> <br />30, <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Pete and Bessie Voytko were married on August <br />1941 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Pleasant City, Ohio <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a few years after their union the married pair <br />moved to the City of Lakewood where they would make their home <br />for the next forty-six years to the present day at 2052 Marlowe, <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is at this home on Marlowe Avenue the couple <br />raised their five children; Lydia, Marjorie, Paula, Betsy, and <br />Pete Jr., and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Voytko share great pride and <br />great joy as the grandparents of fifteen, the great-grandparents <br />of one, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, each of the Voytkos enjoy individual interests <br />whereby Pete Voytko, retired from the Eaton Corporation, golfs, <br />bowls and volunteers while Bessie Voytko enjoys crafts, <br />participates in the Right To Life Society, and offers her time for <br />volunteering as well, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, together the two attend Pentecost Lutheran <br />Church in Lakewood where Mrs. Voytko has earned the title <br />of President of the Altar Guild for her dedication to the church <br />while Mr. Voytko holds an honorary membership for his many years <br />of service, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council and Mayor wish to join with <br />organizations, friends and family in congratulating this dedicated <br />couple on this noteworthy occasion of their Golden Wedding <br />Anniversary; now, therefore <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1.' iThat this Council and the Mayor, extend to <br />Mr. and Mrs. Peter S. Voytko Sr. their congratulations on the <br />occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary and wish the Voytkos <br />continued years of h~alth, happiness and harmony. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she is <br />hereby authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of this <br />Resolution to Mr. and Mrs. Peter S.
