RESOLUTION NO. 6635-91 <br /> <br /> BY: Boscia~ Gallagher, <br />Gazzana, George, Graham, Ro'th, Smith <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION to commend Edwin Marshall for his public' <br />service as a member of the Department of Public Works in the City <br />of LakewOod. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, upon his retirement, effective August30, <br />1991, he has completed more than 33 years of public service with <br />the Department of Public Works, City of Lakewood;·and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Ed began his service' to the City in the <br />'Division of Streets where he.worked for 20 years, becoming <br /> Assistant Superintendent in 1976, and in 1978 he became the <br /> Superintendent of Refuse; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, during his tenure with the Lakewood Department <br />of Public Works, Ed Marshall has been recognized as a loyal and <br />dedicated employee Who rendered outstanding service, not only to <br />the Department of Public Works, but to the entire community as <br />well; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the public <br />service rendered by Ed Marshall be given public cognizance; now, <br />therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That this Council and the Mayor, hereby <br />extend to Edwin Marshall,· its·commendation, and that of all the <br />citizens, of the Lakewood Community for his more than 33 years of <br />public service as an employee in the Department of Public Works <br />of the City of Lakewood, and further that this Council and Mayor <br />wish him continued years of health, happiness and prosperity in <br />his retirement. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she is <br />hereby authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of <br />this Resolution to Edwin MarShall, 2129 Wyandotte, Lakewood, Ohio <br />44107, and that a copy of this the <br />minutes of the meeting. <br /> <br /> CLERK <br /> <br /> <br />
