RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />6746-92 <br /> <br />BY: Boscia, Gallagher, George, <br />Gibbons, Roth, Seelie, Smith <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION extending congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. <br />Leo Ippolito on the celebration of their Fiftieth Wedding <br />Anniversary. ~- <br /> <br />on <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Phyllis Scimenes and Leo Ippolito were married <br />August 15, 1942 in the army chapel at Camp Kilmer, New Jersey, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the wedding secured an indispensable anchor for <br />Mr. Ippolito who was sent overseas to serve this country, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, soon after Mr. Ippolito's return to the United <br />States and subsequent reunion with Mrs. Ippolito the couple would <br />take up residency in Lakewood where they remain to this day, <br />totaling 44 years as Lakewood residents, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. Ippolito's years of dedicated employment at <br />Westinghouse and Mrs. Ippolit°'s years of devoted care in the <br />house formed the. home life essential for raising their four <br />children; Felicia, Michelle, Marga and Leo, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, together the IPPolito's continue to share <br />mutual interests in their children, their seven grandchildren, <br />membership at St. Luke's Catholic Church and voracious reading, <br />while individually Mr. Ippolito enjoys photography as Mrs. <br />Ippolito has a yen for a good crossword puzzle, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council and Mayor wish to join with the <br />friends and family of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Ippolito in congratulating <br />this dedicated couple on the noteworthy occasion of their Golden <br />Wedding Anniversary; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE cITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1.
