RESOLUTION NO. 6804-93 BY: Boscia, Gallagher, George, Gibbons, Roth, Seelie, Smith A RESOLUTION extending congratulations to Edward John Brzytwa III, for his strong and early respect and interest in the foundations and workings of the United States Government; WHEREAS, Edward J. Brzytwa III did apply, was accepted and did attend the Washington Workshops Foundation 1993 Presidential Inaugural Seminar, held in Washington, D.C.; and WHEREAS, Edward was so inspired by his opportunity as to have, through his own labor and savings, personally provided the substantial funds necessary for the trip, and was qualified for the seminar in part because of his impressive academic record at St. Ignatius High School; and expected student and WHEREAS, Edward's observations of the occasion are to be recorded and publicized through an article of journalism he will pen for the Cleveland Plain Dealer; WHEREAS, through his own zeal and determination, Edward was both afforded a place at the Inaugural Seminar and was able to witness the Inauguration of 42nd President William Jefferson Clinton, thus acting as a worthy pair of eyes for the youth of our community at this great and historic event; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That this Council and the Mayor hereby extend to Edward John Brzytwa III its commendation, and that of all the citizens of the Lakewood Community for his attendance at the 1993 Presidential Inaugural Seminar. Section authorized hereby this Resolution to Edward John Brzytwa III, Lakewood, Ohio, and that a copy of this Resolut~ 2.
