RESOLUTION NO. 6859-93 <br /> <br />BY: Boscia, Gallagher, George, <br /> Gibbons, Roth, Se~ie, Smith <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION recommending that the City enter into a contract with <br />ICA - Insulation Corporation of America in tile amount of $51,995.0U for the <br />construction of a Low Emissivity Ceiling Curtain System for the Winterhurst <br />Municipal Ice Rink. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Ordinance No. 93-92, sealed bids were received <br />by the City of Lakewood for the construction of the Low Emissivity Ceiling <br />Curtain System, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, three {3) bids. were submitted ranging from $51,995.00 to <br />$79,659.00, the low bid submitted is less than the engineer's estimate of <br />$7U,UOU.OU, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Procurement Officer recommended and the Board of Control <br />approved the bid of ICA - Insulation Corporation of America in the amount of <br />$51,995.U0 as the lowest and best bid; now therefore <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO, <br /> <br /> Section 1. Council approves the actions of the Board of Control ane <br />recommends that the Director of Public Works enter into a contract witll ICA <br />- Insulation Corporation of America in the amount of $51,995.00 for the <br />construction of the Low Emissivity Ceiling Curtain System for the Winterhurst <br />Municipal ice Rink. <br /> <br /> Section 2.
