RESOLUTION N0: <br /> <br />6863-93 <br /> <br /> BY:Boscia, Gallagher, <br />George, Gibbons, Roth, Seelie, Smith <br /> <br />for his <br />Award; <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION to commend Firefighter Jeffrey Kantorak <br />selection as a recipient of the Ohio Fire Service Valor <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on July 27, 1992, Firefighter Kantorak and <br />Firefighter Stephen Hack, in response to a house fire on Woodward <br />Avenue, fought through extreme dense heat and smoke up to the <br />third floor bedroom in an attempt to rescue a young mother and <br />her 14 month-old daughter; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the labors of Jeffrey Kantorak on that night <br />have been acknowledged as highly courageous and exemplary of his <br />profession; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Lakewood is fortunate to have <br />such brave and dedicated'people as Jeffrey Kantorak in its employ <br />and as its protectors; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the State Fire Commission will recognize Fire- <br />fighter KantOrak's heroic efforts at an Awards Banquet on <br />September 28th at the State Fire Academy in Reynoldsburg, Ohio; <br />and <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1.
