RESOLUTION NO: <br /> <br />6864-93 <br /> <br /> BY: Boscia, Gallagher, <br />George, Gibbons, Roth, Seelie, Smith <br /> <br />for his <br />Award; <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION to commend Firefighter <br />selection as a recipient of the Ohio Fire <br /> <br />Stephen Hack <br />Service Valor <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on July 27, 1992, Firefighter Hack and <br />Firefighter Jeffrey Kantorak, in response to a house fire on <br />Woodward Avenue, fought through extreme dense heat and smoke up <br />to the third floor bedroom in an attempt to rescue a young mother <br />and her 14 month-old daughter; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br />been acknowledged <br />profession; and <br /> <br />the labors of Stephen Hack on that night have <br />as highly courageous and exemplary of his <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Lakewood is fortunate to have <br />such brave and dedicated people as Stephen Hack in its employ and <br />as its protectors; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the State Fire Commission will recognize Fire- <br />fighter Hack's heroic efforts at an Awards Banquet on September <br />28th at the State Fire Academy in Reynoldsburg, Ohio; and <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That this Council and the Mayo~, on behalf <br />of the citizens of Lakewood, express their commendation and <br />gratitude to Firefighter Stephen Hack for his commitment to <br />firefighting which was so aptly demonstrated. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and is hereby <br />directed to forward a certified copy of this Resolution to <br />Firefigher Stephen Hack, 182 Best Street, Berea, OH 44017 and <br />that a copy of this Resolution be this <br />meeting. <br /> <br />CLERK <br /> <br />MAYOR <br /> <br /> <br />
