RESOLUTION NO. 6870-93 <br /> <br />BY: Boscia, Gallagher, George, <br /> Gibbons, Roth, Seelie, Smith <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION recommending that the City enter into a contract with <br />Terrace Construction Co. in the amount of $212,698.U0 for the resurfacing of <br />Quail Street. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Ordinance No. 6-93, sealed bids were received <br />by The City of Lakewood for the resurfacing of Quail Street, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, two (2) bids were submitted ranging from $212,698.00 to <br />$312,887.50, the low bid being less than the engineer's estimate of $23U,OOU.O0, <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Procurement Officer recommended and the Board of control <br />approved the bid of Terrace Construction Co. in the amount of $212,698.0U as the <br />lowest and best bid; now therefore <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO, <br /> <br /> Section 1. Council approves the actions of the Board of Control and. <br />recommends that the Director of Public Works enter into a contract with Terrace <br />Construction Co. in the amount of $212,698.00 for the resurfacing of Quail <br />Street. <br /> <br />Section 2.
