RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />6885-93 <br /> <br />Bosaia, Gallagher, George, <br /> Gibbons, Roth, Seelie, Smith <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION commending the efforts of staff members <br />and volunteers attending to the special needs of Lakewood <br />Citizens in the course of their duties as lifeguards and trainers <br />at our City pools. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on Wednesday, <br />Property Committee met with <br />recreation programs, and <br /> <br /> September 29, 1993 the City <br />residents to discuss summer <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, during the meeting testimony was given on the <br />valuable and dedicated service provided to our citizens with <br />special needs at our Lakewood pools, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, with the collaborative efforts of Aquatics <br />Coordinator Mrs. Becks and and the able guidance of Mrs. Pizir of <br />the Parents of Lakewood Handicapped Children a solid group was <br />formed to provide the necessary skills to enhance the lives of <br />children with special needs, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at a time when there seems so few examples <br />available of hard work for generous purposes it is only fitting <br />and proper that the quiet heroes of our co...unity be given public <br />cognizance and recognition; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1.
