RESOLUTION NO. 6931-94 <br /> <br />BY: Boscia, Flannery, George, <br />Gibbons, Roth, Seelie, Smith <br /> <br /> A R~SOLUTION congratulating Lakewood Resident, Susan <br />Dowers, on being elected President of the Earth Day Coalition. <br /> <br /> ~, the Earth Day Coalition is NOrtheast Ohio's <br />largest environmental education and advocaclrgroup, and <br /> <br /> ~, as well as addressing environmental issues, <br />the organization coordinates EA~EST, an'annual event each <br />April at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo that serves to increase <br />l~ablic awarenmss of environmental issues an~ celebrates the <br />commitment of those in the Northeast Ohio area who work for th, <br />health of our Earth, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the coalition strives for a cooperative effort <br />· of organizations and individuals to protect our environment, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is only fitting and proper that the <br />President of such organization be given public cognizance an~ <br />recognitiOnbya formal resolution; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RF-~OLVED BY ~ CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1.
