REFERRED TO Tile PUBLIC WORK5 AN~ <br />SAFETY & TRAFFIC COMMITTEES 6/6/94. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 6967-94 <br /> <br />BY:Boscia, George, Gibbons, <br /> Roth, Seelie, Smith <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION requesting the Director of the Uhio Department of <br />Transportation to extend the traditional school zone boundary at Lincoln <br />School, 15~15 Clifton Blvd. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Lakewood is currently upgrading the school zone <br />signs throughout the city, aha <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Lakewood School Board has asked the City to review the <br />traditional 'school zone boundary at Lincoln School with a request to extend <br />that boundary, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Ohio Revised Code Section 4511.21 ~Speed Limits; School <br />Zones; Modifications) provides for school zone modifications when requested <br />by the legislative authority of a municipal corporation, now therefore <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of the Ohio Department of Transporta- <br />tion be requested so extend the traditional school zone boundary as provided <br />by law. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the Director of Public Works be and is hereby <br />authorized to work with the Director of the Ohio Department of Transportation <br />or his designee to bring about an appropriate modification to the school zone <br />at Lincoln School. <br /> <br /> Section 3.
