RESOLUTION NO. 6976-94 BY: <br /> <br />Boscia, Flannery, George, <br />Gibbons, R0th, Seelie, Smith <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION to honor and recognize City employee, Rose <br />Pelger, on the occasion of her $0th birthday Thursday, September <br />22, 1994. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Rose Perger is a hard-working and dependable <br />employee of the City of Lakewood, operating as a Kitchen Aide az <br />the Senior Center, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the physical demands of serving approximately <br />67,000 meals a year to our seniors; lugging weighty pots, pulling <br />pans from ovens, in no way reflect on her delightful and warm <br />demeanor, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, "wonderful, delightful, cheerful and lovely", <br />are words Rose's co-workers use to describe her, and <br /> <br /> %~HEREAS, it is only fitting and proper that this <br />Council and Mayor join Rose's sons Mark and Ron, her co-workers <br />and friends., in the celebration of her birthday; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That this Council and Mayor extend to Rose <br />Perger, its recognition and congratulations on =he celebration of <br />her 80th birthday. <br /> <br /> Section 2.
