RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />6994-95 <br /> <br />BY: Boscia, Flannery, George, <br /> Gibbons, Roth, Seelie, Smith <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION to commend Police Chief Matthew Biscotti <br />on being elected President of the Cuyahoga County Chiefs of <br />Police Association. <br /> <br /> .WHEREAS, the Cuyahoga County Chiefs of Police <br />Association was founded in 1926 to advocate law enforcement <br />issues, promote crime prevention programs, and provide support <br />for police officers, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, business leaders, citizens and law enforcement <br />groups make up the 250 plus members of the organization, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the programs and projects the Cuyahoga County <br />Chiefs of Police Association have taken active roles in are the <br />Cuyahoga Regional Information System, Crimestoppers and <br />significant work in police officer training, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is only fitting and proper that the honor <br />bestowed on Police Chief Matthew Biscotti as new president of the <br />Cuyahoga County Chiefs of Police Association be given public <br />cognizance and recognition; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE'OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That this Council and the Mayor hereby <br />extend to Police Chief Matthew Biscotti their commendation, and <br />that of all. the citizens of the Lakewood Co~imiunity for his <br />election as President of the Cuyahoga County Chiefs of Police <br />Association. <br /> <br /> ~ Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she is <br />hereby authorized and directed to forward a copy of this <br />Resolution to Police Chief Matthew Biscotti, and that a copy of <br />this Resolution be spread upon the minutes of the meeting. <br /> <br /> <br />
