<br /> A RESOLUTION to commend the Lakewood High School Lady Rangers
<br />Varsity Basketball Team for their exceptional 1994-95 season.
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, the Lady Rangers have completed an outstanding season in
<br />which they claimed fi?t p, lace in the Lakewood Erie League, were sectional, district and

<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, not since 1941 has Lakewood High School had a team
<br />compete at the state level and these 1995 Rangers put together the enviable overall
<br />record of 27 wins and I loss; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, the team, consisting of Leslie Favre, Katie Hank, Danielle
<br />Mueller, Anne Knowles, Mary Trela, Summer Erb, Annie Stahlheber, Angela Weiss,
<br />Mandy Thoburn,. Christine Czechanski, Noreen Eddy and Courtney Root, achieved
<br />their successes under the leadership of head coach Marc Lewis and assistant coaches
<br />Bill Buzzell, Colleen Moran and Beth D'Egidio; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, the Lady Rangers through untiring hard work, perseverance,
<br />determination, talent, and teamwork, have brought to life the spirit of the purple and
<br />gold at its finest, and have brought distinction and honor not only to themselves, but to
<br />the entire Lakewood community; now, therefore,
<br />
<br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO:
<br />
<br /> Section 1. That this Council and the Mayor hereby extend to the Lady
<br />Rangers, their coach, Marc Lewis, and assistant coaches Bill Buzzell, Colleen Moran and
<br />Beth D'Egidio, their commendation, as well as that of all citizens of Lakewood, for their
<br />outstanding athletic achievement during the 1994-95 basketball season.
<br />
<br /> Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized and
<br />directed to forward a certified copy of this Resolution to Coach Marc Lewis, Lakewood
<br />High School, 14100 Franklin Boulevard, Lakewood, Ohio, 44107, and that a copy of this
<br />Resolution be spread upon the minutes of the meeting.
