PLACED ON 1st Reading ~ Referred to <br />PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE on 4/5/95. <br />PLACED ON 2nd Reading on 4/17/9S. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 7032-A-95 BY: Boscia, Flannery, George, <br /> Gibbons, Roth; Seelie, Smith ' <br /> A RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Director of <br />Public Works, on behalf of the City, to enter into certain <br />agreements With the County Commissioners of Cuyahoga County <br />necessary to facilitate the resurfacing of and replacement of <br />expansion joints in the Hilliard Road bridge over the Rocky <br />River. ~ <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Hilliard Road (CR 69) bridge no. 65 over the <br />Rocky River is a heavily travelled means of ingress to and egress <br />from the City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City recognizes a need for improvements to said <br />bridge by the resurfacing of and replacement of expansion joints <br />in same; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, said improvements will not require the appropria- <br />tion of additional City funds or the hiring of additional City <br />personnel; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City to enter <br />into an agreement With the County Commissioners of Cuyahoga <br />County to facilitate said improvements; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO ~., <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Public Works, on behal~ <br />of the City~ is hereby authorized and directed to enter int~ <br />certain agreements with the County Commissioners of Cuyahoga <br />County necessary to facilitate the resurfacing of and replacing <br />the expansion joints in the Hilliard Road (CR 69) bridge no. 65 <br />over the Rocky River; said'agreement to be in a form and to <br />contain such terms and conditions as deemed necessary by the <br />Director of Law to protect the public interest. <br /> <br /> Section 2.
