RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />7057-95 BY: Boscia, Flannery, George, <br /> Gibbons, Roth, Seelie, Smith <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION honoring Father Jack Krasen for his <br />years of service to St. James Parish in the City of Lakewood. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Father Krasen joined St. James in 1989 and <br />became affectionately known as Father Jack, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, during his tenure with St. James Parish, <br />Father Jack has been recognized for his dedication and support to <br />young couples preparing for marriage, his cherished visits to shut- <br />ins, and his joyful presence in all aspects of his vocation, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the 1700 families of St. James Church who <br />know him best are not only deeply appreciative of Father Krasen's <br />spiritual guidance but are'grateful for his gift of humor, compassion <br />and gentle expression of friendship , and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, all members of the St. James Parish <br />community congratulate and celebrate with Father Jack on his 35th <br />anniversary in the priesthood, and publicly acknowledge, with <br />heartfelt appreciation, that their lives haVe been forever improved as <br />a result of Father Jack sharing six of those 35 years with their <br />community; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, <br />STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That Father Jack Krasen be honored by a <br />formal Resolution in order to give public cognizance and <br />recognition to a wonderful human being and to further thank him <br />on behalf of those who embrace his lasting and beneficial influence <br />on their lives. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and. is hereby <br />authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of this <br />Resolution to Father Jack Krasen, St. James Church, 17514 Detroit, <br />Lakewood, OH 44107, and that a copy of this Resolution be spread <br />upon. the record. <br /> <br />Approved:~ -' <br /> 'J Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
