RESOLUTION NO. 7075-95 BY: Boscia, Flannery, George, <br /> Gibbons, Roth, Seelie, Smith <br />A RESOLUTION authorizing the Mayor, on behalf of the City, <br />to enter into an amended and r~S~ated consortium agreement with <br />Cuyahoga County and the cities of Cleveland Heights, Euclid, and <br />Parma, Ohio for the purpose of admitting the City of Parma as a <br />member of the Cuyahoga Housing Consortium. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Congress of the United States and the U.S. <br />Department of Housing and Urban Development authorized the <br />creation of consortia to apply for and administer funds available <br />under the Home Investment Partnership Program (HOME); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to City of Lakewood Ordinance No. 8-93, <br /> the City i s a member of the Cuyahoga Housing Consortium <br /> (Consortium) and a party to a consortium agreement between the <br /> aforementioned cities; and <br /> <br />.......... ' ~ ~ ~;"the ~onsortium now consists of Cuyahoga County, and <br /> the cities Of Lakewood, C]eve]and Heights, and EUclid, Ohio; and <br /> <br /> 'WHEREAS, the city of Parma desires to become a member of the <br /> Consortium; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Amended and Restated Consortium Agreement is <br /> substantia]]y simi]ar to the agreement authorized by City of <br /> Lakewood Ordinance No, 8-93; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Mayor, on behalf of the City, is <br />hereby authorized and directed to enter into an agreement with <br />Cuyahoga County and the cities of Cleveland Heights, EuClid, and <br />Parma, Ohio for the purpose of adding the City of Parma as a <br />member of the Cuyahoga Housing Consortium, which app]ies for and <br />administers federal funds avai]ab]e under the Home Investment <br />Partnership Program (HOME); said agreement to be in a form and to <br />contain such terms and conditions as deemed necessary by the <br />Director of Law to protect the public interest. <br /> <br /> Section 2.
