RESOLUTION NO. 7082-95 <br /> <br /> BY: Boscia, Flannery, George, <br />Gibbons, Roth, Seelie, Smith <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION to commend Lakewood Police Officers Alan <br />Clark, Edward Favre and John Crane for their dedication and <br />commitment during the investigation of public corruption in the <br />City of Lakewood. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Captain Alan Clark's persistence and <br />unwavering quest for evidence uncovered the misuse of taxpayers <br />money by former city officials and employees, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Detective John Crane worked diligently to lay <br />the ground work for indictments and eventual convictions of these <br />employees, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Detective Edward Favre showed himself to have <br />integrity and courage with the thankless job of scrutinizing <br />practices and procedures of those in critical positions in city <br />government, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is a great testament to the virtues of our <br />Lakewood Police Department that officers of this caliber can <br />thrive under difficult circumstances and remind the citizens of <br />Lakewood that no person is above the law; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That this Council and Mayor find the <br />commitment and dedication shown by Captain Alan Clark, Detective <br />Edward Favre, and Detective John Crane worthy of commendation and <br />public recognition. <br /> <br /> Section 2.
