RESOLUTION NO. 7104-96 <br /> <br />B¥:Boscia, Corrigan, Flannery, <br /> George, Roth, Seelie, Smith <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION commending Joseph P. Gibbons for his <br />public service as Councilman for Ward 1. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Joseph Gibbon's term as Councilman expires <br />December 31, 1995, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Joseph Gibbons has served the City with a <br />unique blend of forthrightness, compassion and intelligence, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Joe Gibbons exhibits a rare quality in a <br />politician of being a good listener, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Joseph Gibbons is a man who speaks his <br />mind without shouting, achieves his goals without being overbearing <br />and shows genuine appreciation for the problems facing the City's <br />residents, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Joseph P. Gibbons brought his skills as an <br />attorney to his work of Council serving as chairman of the Rules and <br />Ordinances Committee and member of the Finance Committee, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Joseph P. Gibbons still has a mean, fall away <br />jump shot; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, <br />STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That this Council and Mayor wish to commend <br />Joseph P. Gibbons for his dedicated service as Ward I Councilman <br />for the City of Lakewood and further that this Council wishes him <br />continued years of health, happiness and prosperity. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and is hereby <br />authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of this resolution to <br />Mr. Joseph P.
