RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />7156-96 BY:Boscia, Corrigan, Flannery, <br /> George, Roth, Seelie, Smith <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION to honor the St. Edward Eagles Hockey Team, winning its 3rd <br />consecutive Class AAA State Title. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, special commendation and recognition is due to all members of the <br />St. Edward Hockey Team and Coach Bob Whidden and his staff for their outstanding <br />performance at this year's State Championship Hockey game; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Mayor and Council realize and appreciate the dedication and <br />commitment which the team, coaches and staff have demonstrated in order to accomplish this <br />enviable feat; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, by their outstanding accomplishments, the St. Edward High School <br />Eagles Hockey Team has brought due recognition and honor, not only to themselves, but to the <br />entire Lakewood community and these accomplishments should be recognized in a proper and <br />fitting manner; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That we honor the St. Edward Eagle Hockey Team for their <br />outstanding athletic achievements during the 1995-96 hockey season. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized and <br />directed to forward a certified copy of this Resolution to Coach Bob Whidden, St. Edward High <br />School, 13500 Detroit Avenue, Lakewood, OH 44107, and that a copy of this Resolution be <br />spread upon the minutes of the meeting. <br /> <br />Adopted: /t/ <br /> <br />PRESIDENT <br /> <br />CLE <br /> <br /> <br />
