RESOLUTION NO. 7[40-96 BY: BOscia, Corrigan, George, <br /> Roth, Seelie, Smith <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION to change the location of the regular meeting <br />of Council scheduled for April 15, 1996, from Lakewood City Hall to <br />Harding Middle School. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Council desires to engage City residents in the <br />operation of local government~ and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Council believes the best manner in which to <br />encourage participation in local government is to periodically hold <br />Council meetings in each of these four (4) wards, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Article III, Section 4 of the Amended Charter of <br />the City of Lakewood gives Council the authority to schedule meetings <br />by resolution; now therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That pursuant to the authority of Article III, <br />Section 4 of the Amended Char~er of the City of Lakewood, the regular <br />meeting of Council scheduled for April 15, 1996, at 7:30 p.m. be held <br />at Harding Middle School at 16600 Hilliard Road, Lakewood, Ohio. <br /> <br /> Section 2. The Clerk of Council is hereby authorized and <br />directed to give notice of the new meeting location as provided in <br />Section 1 herein to the public and media in such manner as provided <br />by the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood and the law, and <br />to the Mayor and all City departments. <br /> <br />PRESIDENT <br /> <br />CLERK <br /> <br /> <br />
