RESOLUTION NO. 7149-96 <br /> <br />BY: Boscia, Corrigan, Flannery, <br /> George, Roth, Seelie, Smith <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION authorizing the Director of Public Works as per <br />Ordinance 81-g5 passed on February 20, lg§6, to expend $12,005.00 for the <br />purchase of a Ransomes Front Line 723D 72-inch mower for the Division of Parks <br />& Public Property. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Ordinance 81-95 passed on February 20, 1996, allocated an <br />amount of $10,000 to purchase a 72-inch mower based on budgetary estimates, <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Ohio State Division of Purchasing Contract #180366-E <br />assigns an actual cost of $13,005.00, to purchase the 72-inch mower, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Ordinance 81-95 passed on February 20, 1996, requires <br />-that a resolution of Council is necessary if prices exceed the amounts <br /> specified, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, funds are available to make up the $3,005 difference due <br />to savings on other equipment as outlined in Ordinance 81-95, now, therefore <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Public Works may enter into a <br />contract to the Ohio State Division of Purchasing in an amount of $13,005.00 <br />for the purchase of a Ransomes Front Line 723D 72-inch mower for the Division <br />of Parks & Public Property. <br /> <br /> Section 2. It is found and determined that all formal actions of <br />this Council concerning and relating to the passage of this resolution were <br />adopted in an open meeting of Council, and that all such deliberations of this <br />Council and any of its committees that resulted in such formal action, were in <br />meetings open to the public, in compliance with all legal requirements. <br /> <br />Adopted: <br /> <br />President <br /> <br /> <br />
