RESOLUTION NO. 7160-96 <br /> <br />BY: <br /> <br />Boscia, Corrigan, George, <br />Roth, Seelie, Smith <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION authorizing the Director of Public Works as per <br />Ordinance 81-95 passed on February 20, 1996, to expend $54,575.00 for the <br />purchase of an Ice Resurfacing Machine for Winterhurst Ice Rink. <br /> WHEREAS, Ordinance 81-95 passed on February 20, 1996, allocated an <br />amount of $50,000 to purchase an Ice Resurfacing Machine, and <br /> WHEREAS, the competitive bid process through the Purchasing <br />.Division of the Department of Finance resulted in an actual cost of $54,575.0D <br />to purchase the Ice Resurfacing Machine, and <br /> WHEREAS, Ordinance 81-95 passed on February 20, 1996, requires <br />that a resolution of Council is necessary if prices exceed the amounts <br />specified, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, funds are available to make up the $4,575 difference due <br />to savings on other equipment as outlined in Ordinance 81-95, now, therefore <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO <br /> Section 1, That the Director of Public Works may enter into a <br />contract with Baker Arena Products, Inc, in an amount of $54,575,00 for the <br />purchase of an Ice Resurfacing Machine for Winterhurst Ice Rink, <br /> Section 2, It is found and determined that all formal actions of <br /> this Council concerning and relating to the passage of this resolution were <br /> adopted in an open meeting of Council, and that all such deliberations of this <br /> Council and any of'its committees that resulted in such formal action, were in <br /> meetings open to the public, in compliance with all legal requirements. <br /> <br />Approved:~ /7, /~f~ <br /> <br />t !~; [ ~'h~,Presi dent <br /> <br /> <br />
