RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />7168-96 BY: Corrigan, Flannery, <br /> George, Roth, Seelie, Smith <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION to commend Kurt Fensel for his public service in the <br />DiviSion of Police for the City of Lakewood. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, upon his retirement effective July 5, 1996, Kurt Fensel <br />completed 23 years of public service in the Division of Police, 10 of those years in the <br />Detective Bureau; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, dudng his tenure with the Division of Police, Kurt Fensel has <br />been recognized as a loyal and dedicated employee who rendered outstanding service <br />not only to the Department of Public Safety, but to the entire community as well; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the public service rendered by Kurt <br />Fensel be given public cognizance and recognition; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That this Council and Mayor, hereby extend to Detective Kurt <br />Fensel its appreciation and that of ail of the citizens of this community for his 23 years <br />of public service as a Police Officer in the Division of Police of the City of Lakewood <br />and further that this Council and Mayor wish him continued years of health, happiness <br />and prosperity in his retirement. <br /> <br /> Section 2.
