RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />7169-96 BY: Corrigan, Flanner¥, <br /> George, Roth, Seelie, Smith <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION to commend Lawrence R. Ambrose for his public service <br />in the Division of Police for the City of Lakewood. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, upon his retirement effective July 5, 1996, Lawrence R. <br />Ambrose completed 29 years of public service in the Division of Police, many of those <br />years as a Police InVestigator; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, during his tenure with the Division of Police, Lawrence R. <br />Ambrose has been recognized as a loyal and dedicated employee who rendered <br />outstanding service not only to the Department of Public Safety, but to the entire <br />community as well; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the public service rendered by <br />Lawrence R. Ambrose be given public cognizance and recognition; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That this Council and Mayor, hereby extend to Police <br />Investigator Lawrence R. Ambrose its appreciation and that of all of the citizens of this <br />community for his 29 years of public service as a Police Officer in the Division of Police <br />of the City of Lakewood and further that this Council and Mayor wish him continued <br />years of health, happiness and prosperity in his retirement. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized and <br />directed to forward a certified copy of this Resolution to Lawrence R.
