RESOLUTION NO. 7175-96 <br /> <br /> BY: Corrigan, Flannery, <br />George, Roth, Seelie, Smith <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION to honor the City of Lakewood's Division of Police <br />Bicycle Unit on winning a statewide bicycle relay competition; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, special commendation and recognition is due to John Guzik, <br />Mike Firtsch, Rob Schubert, Dave Vet and Tim Dow for this outstanding achievement; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the competition was held August 18, 1996 in Grandview <br />Heights, Ohio and Lakewood's Bicycle Unit placed first against 17 other teams; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Lakewood wishes to extend its expression of pdde <br />in the accomplishments of this Bicycle Unit as well as our appreciation for the <br />recognition they have brought to Lakewood by winning the competition; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEVVOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That this Council and the Mayor hereby extend to the <br />Division of Police Bicycle Unit its congratulations and that of all the citizens of the <br />Lakewood community for their outstanding athletic achievements. <br /> <br /> Section 2.
