RESOLUTION NO. 7181 - 9 6 <br /> <br />BY: Boscia, Corrigan, Flannery, <br /> George, Roth, Seelie, Smith <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Mayor for and on behalf <br />of the City of Lakewood to enter into a contract with the Western Reserve Area Agency <br />on Aging to accept funds for Supportive and In Home Services, such contract prov/ding <br />partial funding for supplemental programs under Title III of the 1965 Older Americans <br />Act. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Western Reserve Area Agency on Aging is administering <br />a program of grants from the Federal Government under Title III of the 1965 Older <br />Americans Act whereby this City may obtain monies to provide programs for persons 60 <br />years of age or older; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Mayor, for and on behalf of the City of Lakewood, <br />be and she is hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with the Western <br />Reserve Area Agency on Aging, providing partial funding of the City's Program under <br />Title 1II of the 1965 Older Americans Act. <br /> <br /> Section 2. It is found and determined that all formal actions of this <br />Council concerning and relating to the passage of this resolution were adopted in an open <br />meeting of this Council, and that all such deliberations of this Council and of any of its <br />committees that resulted in such formal action were in meetings open to the public in <br />compliance with all legal requirements. <br /> <br />PRESIDENT <br /> <br />'CLERK <br /> <br /> MAYOR <br /> <br /> <br />
