RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />7186-96 <br /> <br /> BY: Boscia, Corrigan <br />Flannery, George, Roth, Seelie, <br />Smith <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION to commend David VV. Bordine for his public service in <br />the Division of Fire for the City of Lakewood. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, upon his retirement effective October 1, 1996, David VV. <br />Bordine completed over 23 years of public service with the Division of Fire. 6 of those <br />years as Executive Assistant Chief; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, during his tenure with the Division of Fire, David W. Bordine <br />has been recognized as a loyal and dedicated employee who rendered outstanding <br />service not only to the Department of Public Safety, but to the entire community as well; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the public service rendered by <br />David W. Bordine be given public cognizance and recognition; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That this Council and Mayor, hereby extend to Executive <br />Assistant Chief David W. Bordine its appreciation and that of all of the citizens of this <br />community for his 23 years of public service in the Division of Fire of the City of <br />Lakewood and further that this Council and Mayor wish him continued years of health, <br />happiness and prosperity in.his retirement. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized and <br />directed to forward a certified copy of this Resolution to David W.
