RESOLUTION NO. 7189-96 BY: Boscia, Corrigan, Flannery, George, Roth, Seelie, Smith A RESOLUTION to commend James T. Barbero for his public service as an employee of the City of Lakewood. WHEREAS, James T. Barbera first became associated with the City of Lakewood on August 4, 1980 and has since faithfully served more than 16 years of public service in a variety of capacities, including Director of Planning and Community Development, Assistant Director of Planning and Development and Assistant Engineer, and WHEREAS, throughout much of his tenure with the City of Lakewood, James T. Barbero has served as the Secretary to several Boards and Commissions, including the Board of Zoning Appeals, Planning Commission and Board of Building Standards/Architecturai Board of Review and Sign Review; and WHEREAS, during his tenure with the City of Lakewood, James T. Barbero has been reco~i?~d as an extremely knowledgeable, loyal and dedicated employee who rendered outstanding service to the entire community; and WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the public service rendered by James T. Barbero be given public cognizance and recognition upon his retirement, effective September 27, 1996. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That this Council and the Mayor hereby extend to James T. Barbero its appreciation, and that of all the citizens of the Lakewood Community, for his more than 16 years of public service as an employee of the City of Lakewood, and further that this Council and the Mayor wish him continued years of health, happiness and prosperity, in his retirement. Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of this Resolution to James T. Barbero and that a copy of this Resolution be spread upon the minutes of the meeting. Adopted: Approved: PRESIDENT CLER~
