RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />7207:97 <br /> <br /> BY: Boscia, Corrigan, <br />Flannery, George, Roth, Seelie, Smith <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION to commend Gordon D. Geiger for his public service during his <br />tenure on the Board of Trustees of the Community Development Corporation of Lakewood, <br />Ohio; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. Geiger was appointed in January, 1992 for a five-year term ending <br />December 31, 1996; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. Geiger has served as Secretary of the Board of Trustees in 1993 <br />and 1996, as a member of the Audit Committee from 1994 through 1996 and as Chairperson of <br />the Board's Management Committee in 1995 and 1996; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, during his tenure on the Board of Trustees, Mr. Geiger has contributed <br />a vast amount of knowledge and experience as a Board member and as a member of its <br />Executive Committee; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is most appropriate that the dedication of Gordon D. Geiger to this <br />Community's preservation, well-being and future development be given public cognizance and <br />recognition. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, <br />STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That this Council and the Mayor, on behalf of the residents of the City <br />of Lakewood, extend to Gordon D. Geiger their commendation and sincere appreciation for his <br />service on the Board of Trustees of the Community Development Corporation of Lakewood, <br />Ohio. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and is hereby authorized and directed to <br />forward a certified copy of this Resolution to Gordon D.
