RESOLUTION NO. 72S7-97 ]BY: Corrigan, Flanner¥, George, <br /> Roth, Seelie, Smith <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION to change the location of the Regular Meeting of <br />Council scheduled for Monday, October 20, 1997, from Lakewood City Hall to the <br />Woman's Club Pavilion at Lakewood Park, 14532 Lake Avenue, Lakewood, Ohio. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Council desires to engage City residents and business <br />community in the operation of local government; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Council believes the best manner in which to encourage <br />participation in local government is to periodically hold Council meetings throughout the <br />City of Lakewood and in each of its four (4) wards; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Article llI, Section 4. of the Amended Charter of the City of <br />Lakewood gives Council the authority to schedule meetings by resolution, now, therefore <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF <br />OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That pursuant to the authority of Article III. Section 4. of <br /> the Amended Charter of the City of Lakewood, the regular meeting <br />of Council scheduled for October 20, 1997, at 7:30 p.m. be held in the <br />Woman's Club Pavilion at Lakewood Park, 14532 Lake Avenue, Lakewood. <br /> <br /> Sechon 2.
