RESOLUTION NO. 7260-97 BY: Corrigan, Flannery, George, <br /> Roth, Seelie, Smith <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION authorizing the Mayor, Director 6fLaw and Director of <br />Finance to accept an appropriate offer and execute any necessary documentation to <br />accept the bequest of the property located at 1548 Clarence Avenue, Lakewood, Ohio <br />from the Estate of Arman Taylor. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Arman Taylor generously bequeathed to the City of Lakewood the <br />property located at 1548 Clarence Avenue, Eakewood, Ohio by virtue of his Last Will <br />and Testament; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City of Lakewood to allow the Estate <br />of Arman Taylor to sell the property and forward the proceeds of the sale to the City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City that the Mayor, Director of Law <br />and Director of Finance be authorized to accept an appropriate offer of purchase and <br />execute any necessary documents; and <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, <br />STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Mayor, Director of Law and Director of Finance be and <br />hereby are authorized to accept an appropriate offer of purchase and execute any <br />necessary documents to accept the bequest from the Estate of Arman Taylor. <br /> <br /> Section 2. It is found and determined that all formal action of the Council <br />concerning and relating to the passage of this resolution were adopted in an open meeting <br />of this Council and that all such deliberations of this Council and of any of its committees <br />that resulted in such formal action were in meetings open to the public in compliance <br />with all legal requirements. <br /> <br /> Section 3.
