RESOLUTION NO.: 7267-97 <br /> <br />BY: Boscia, Corrigan, Flannery, <br />George, Roth, Seelie, Smith <br /> <br /> A Resolution requesting the Auditor of Cuyahoga County to draw and the Treasurer of <br />Cuyahoga County to pay to the Director of Finance of the City of Lakewood, an advance of taxes <br />collected for the year 1998 in such amounts as may be requested and available. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Section 321.34 of the Revised Code provides that when local authorities by <br />resolution so request, the County Auditor shall draw and the County Treasurer shall pay on such <br />draft to township clerks, treasurers of municipal corporations, the Clerk of any board of <br />education, and the treasurer of any other political subdivision or taxing district whose funds <br />derived from taxes or other sources are payable by law to the County Treasurer, any money that <br />may be in the County Treasury to the accounts of such local authorities; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Auditor of Cuyahoga County be requested to draw and the Treasurer <br />fo Cuyahoga County be requested to pay to the Director of Finance of the City of Lakewood, <br />State of Ohio, an advance of taxes for the year 1998 in such amount as may be requested of her <br />and which are available. <br /> <br /> Section 2.
