RESOLUTION NO. 7306-98 <br /> <br />BY: Corrigan, George, Roth, <br /> Seelie, Skindell <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION to commend Anne Made Schiska on her selection as the Ohio <br />PTA District 11 Educator of the Year. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mrs. Schiska currently serves as a second grade teacher at Lincoln <br />Elementary School in our City and in the past has taught 2nd, 3rd, and 5th grades and worked as <br />a Learning Disabilities Tutor and a Learning Disabilities Inclusion Teacher; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, her 30 years of teaching have been marked by dedicated service to <br />the youth of our community, as she has served as instructor, friend and general counselor for <br />thousands of our boys and girls; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, her sphere of influence and activity has extended outside the <br />schoolroom, into various service clubs and community programs, and in every case has made an <br />outstanding contribution to our community and our children; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the dedicated public service rendered by <br />Anne Marie Schiska be given public cognizance and recognition; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That this Council and Mayor, hereby extend to Anne Made Schiska its <br />appreciatiOn and that of all of the citizens of this community for her 30 years of public service to <br />the City of Lakewood Public Schools and further that this Council and Mayor congratulate Mrs. <br />Schiska for this prestigious award. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized and directed <br />to forward a certified copy of this Resolution to Anne Marie Schiska, and that a copy of this <br />Resolution be spread upon the minutes of the meeting. <br /> <br />Adopted: <br /> <br />Approved: <br /> <br />CLERK <br /> <br /> <br />
