RESOLUTION NO. 7330-98 <br /> <br />Corrigan, Flannery, George <br />Roth, Seelie, Skindell, Smith <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION to honor the Firm of McQuilkin, Vine, <br />Longbottom, Forrester & Co., CPAs, for 75 years of professional service. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Firm was founded in Cleveland in 1923 by <br />Martin E McQuilkin, CPA, who had been with Lybrand, Ross Bros. & <br />Montgomery (the forerunner of Coopers & Lybrand), and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, throughout its long history the Firm of <br />McQuilkln, Vine, Longbottom, Forrester & Co. has served Lakewood <br />well as a thriving part of the business community, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, members of the Firm include Donald F. <br />McQuilkin and James R. Vine, who have made outstanding contributions <br />to the Lakewood community with their active participation on Boards, <br />Commis~ious, Task Forces and in Organizations, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is only fitting and proper that a successful <br />Lakewood business be given public cognizance and recognition on the <br />occasion of its 75th anniversary; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE <br />OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1. That this Council extends its congratulations <br />and that of all the citizens of Lakewood to McQuilkin; Vine, Longbottom, <br />Forrester & Co. on the occasion of the Firm's 75th Anniversary. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby <br />authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of this Resolution to <br />McQuilkin, Vine, Longbottom, Forester & Co. and that a copy of this <br />Resolution be spread upon the minutes of the meeting. <br /> <br />President <br /> <br /> <br />
