RESOLUTION NO. 7354-98 <br /> <br />BY: Flannery, George, R.oth, <br /> Seelie, Skindell, Smith <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION to commend Matthew N. Biscotti <br />for his public service in the Division of Police for the <br />City of Lakewood. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, upon his retirement effective <br />November 28, 1998, Matthew N. Biscotti will have <br />completed over 25 years of public service in the Division <br />of Police, the last nine years as Chief of Police. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in November of 1986, Matthew N. <br />Biscotti was specifically recognized upon his graduation <br />from the Southern Police Academ~ by receiving the <br />Director's Award and the Dean's Scholar Award. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in 1995, Matthew N. Biscotti was <br />recognized by his peers when elected to serve as <br />President of the Cuyahoga County Chief's of Police. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, during his tenure with the <br /> Division of Police, Matthew N. Biscotti has been <br />recognized as a loyal and dedicated employee who rendered <br /> outstanding service not only to the Department of Public <br /> Safety, but to Lakewood Schools, businesses and the <br /> remaining community as well; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the <br />public service rendered by Matthew N. Biscotti be given <br />public cognizance and recognition.; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, <br />STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1: That this Council and Mayor, <br />hereby extend to Chief Matthew N. Biscotti its <br />appreciation and that of all of the citizens of this <br />community for his 25 years of public service as a Police <br />Officer in the Division of Police of the City of Lakewood <br />and further that this Council and Mayor wish him <br />continued years of health, happiness and prosperity in <br />his retirement. <br /> <br /> Section 2: That the Clerk of Council be <br />and she is hereby authorized and directed to forward a <br />certified copy of this Resolution to Matthew N. Biscotti <br />and that a copy of this Resolution be spread upon the <br /> <br />minutes of the meeting. <br /> <br />PRESIDENT <br /> <br /> <br />
