RESOLUTION NO. 7356-98 <br /> <br />BY: Corrigan, Flannery, George, <br /> Roth, Seelie, Skinde11, Smith <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION to commend Wallace Bonnell for his enthusiastic <br />demonstration of Lakewood hospitality. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. Wallace Bonnell, may not be recognized by name but is <br />known by hundreds if not thousands who pass the Aristocrat Nursing Home on Detroit <br />as the man in a wheelchair who gestures a kind "hello", and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, by his friendliness, affability and uplifting spirit Mr. Bonnell <br />has endeared himself to children and adults alike, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, many of us in Lakewood have grown accustom to Mr. <br />Bonnell's good-hearted, sympathetic and gentle salutation and warm conversation and <br />ara moved to respond in deep appreciation, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is only fitting and proPer that the actions and goodwill of <br />our dearest residents especially Mr. Wallace Bonnell be given public cognizance and <br />recognition in a formal resolution; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE It RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That this Council and Mayor hereby commend Mr. Wallace <br />Bonnell for his reminder to all of us to transcend our daily routine and take a moment to <br />connect with our fellow human beings with the simple yet profound gesture of "hello". <br /> <br /> Section 2.
