RESOLUTION NO. 7385-99 BY:Corrigan, FitzGerald, <br /> George, Roth, Seelie, Skindell, Smit:~. <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION to c.~ange the next Regular Meeting of Council from the <br />third Monday of February, 1999 to Tuesday, February 16, 1999. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in accordance with Article II1., Section 4. of the Amended <br />Charter of the City of Lakewood, the third Monday of February, 1999 is celebrated as <br />Presidents Day, a legal holiday; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is generally provided that when an official date for taking of <br />such action under law fails upon a declared holiday, the date for such action shall be the <br />next following day; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this resolution constitutes an emergency measure providing <br />for the immediate preservation of the public health, safety and welfare and for the usual <br />operation of a municipality; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That this Council establish that Tuesday, February 16, 1999, is <br />the next regularly scheduled meeting of City Council in celebration of Presidents Day in <br />the City of Lakewood. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it receives the <br />affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, is shall take effect and <br />be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor, otherwise, it shall <br />take effect and be in force after the earliest period allowed by law. <br /> <br />Adopted: <br /> <br />Approved: <br /> <br /> <br />
