RESOLUTION NO. 7384-99 BY: Corrigan, FitzGerald, George <br /> Roth, Seelie, Skindell, Smith <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION commending Roger D. Tibbetts for 25 years of dedicated service <br />to the City of Lakewood. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Roger D. Tibbetts began his career with the City of Lakewood in 1972 <br />when he was appointed ab/Prosecutor on August 30, 1972; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Roger D. ~bbetts became an Assistant Law Director in 1979, and in <br />that capadty served as Counsel to the cib/'s many Boards and Commissions; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, dudng his employment with the City of Lakewood, Roger D. Tibbetts <br />provide advice and counsel to several administrations with not only a breadth of legal <br />knowledge, but a keen skill in resolving matters in the best interest of the City. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at'cer 25 years of dedicated service, Roger D. ~bbetts retired from <br />the City of Lakewood on December 31, 1998, and now will have some well deserved <br />Ume in the sunny south and on the golf course. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE 1'i' RESOLVED BY THE Cl'i'Y COUNOL OF THE CITY OF <br />LAKEWOOD, OH[O THAT: <br /> <br /> Section 1. This Council hereby commends and congratulates Roger D. 'Rbbetts <br />on 25 years of dedicated service to the Qb/of Lakewood in his roles as Prosecutor, <br />Assistant Law Director and Counsel to the Qb/'s Boards and Commissions, and wishes <br />him well in the many retirement years ahead. <br /> <br /> ~ 2. [t is found and determined that all formal action of this Coundl <br />conceming and relating to the passage of this Resolution were adopted in an open <br />meeting of ~ Council, and that all such deliberation of this Council and any of its <br />Committees that resulted in such formal action, were in meetings open to the public in <br />compliance with all legal requirements. <br /> <br /> Section 3.
