RESOLUTION NO. 7384-99 BY: Corrigan, FitzGerald, George Roth, Seelie, Skindell, Smith A RESOLUTION commending Roger D. Tibbetts for 25 years of dedicated service to the City of Lakewood. WHEREAS, Roger D. Tibbetts began his career with the City of Lakewood in 1972 when he was appointed ab/Prosecutor on August 30, 1972; and WHEREAS, Roger D. ~bbetts became an Assistant Law Director in 1979, and in that capadty served as Counsel to the cib/'s many Boards and Commissions; and WHEREAS, dudng his employment with the City of Lakewood, Roger D. Tibbetts provide advice and counsel to several administrations with not only a breadth of legal knowledge, but a keen skill in resolving matters in the best interest of the City. WHEREAS, at'cer 25 years of dedicated service, Roger D. ~bbetts retired from the City of Lakewood on December 31, 1998, and now will have some well deserved Ume in the sunny south and on the golf course. NOW, THEREFORE BE 1'i' RESOLVED BY THE Cl'i'Y COUNOL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, OH[O THAT: Section 1. This Council hereby commends and congratulates Roger D. 'Rbbetts on 25 years of dedicated service to the Qb/of Lakewood in his roles as Prosecutor, Assistant Law Director and Counsel to the Qb/'s Boards and Commissions, and wishes him well in the many retirement years ahead. ~ 2. [t is found and determined that all formal action of this Coundl conceming and relating to the passage of this Resolution were adopted in an open meeting of ~ Council, and that all such deliberation of this Council and any of its Committees that resulted in such formal action, were in meetings open to the public in compliance with all legal requirements.
