RESOLUTION NO. 7335-99 <br /> <br /> BY' Corrigan, FitzGerald, George, <br />Roth, Seelie, Skindell, Smi:h <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION honoring Father Richard Ondreyka for his years of <br />service to Saints CYdl and Methodius Parish in the City of Lakewood. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS. Father Ondreyka first joined SS. Cydl and Methodius Padsh <br />from 1954 to 1956 pdor to his being named pastor in 1977, an~d <br /> WHEREAS. dudng his tenure with SS. Cydl and Methodius, Father <br />Ondreyka has been recognized for his dedication and support to couples preparing for <br />marriage, his visits and comfort to the sick, and his devotion to ail aspects of his <br />vocation, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS. Father Ondreyka has been instrumental in honodng the dch <br />hedtage of Lakewood's Slovak community by offedng Mass in the Slovak language and <br />encouraging seminarians to learn the Slovak language, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS. ail members of the SS. Cydl and Methodius Parish community <br />congratulate and celebrate with Father Ondreyka for his long years of dedication to his <br />Padsh including its school and the greater community; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD. STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1. That Father Ondreyka be honored by a formal Resolution in <br />order to give public cognizance and recognition for his dedicated and inspired service to <br />his Padsh and the greater community. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2. That the Clerk of Council be and is hereby authorized and <br />directed to forward a certified copy of this Resolution to Father Ondmyka, SS Cydl and <br />Methodius Church, 12608 Madison Avenue, Lakewood, Ohio. 44107, and that a copy of <br />this Resolution be spread upon the minutes of this meeting. <br /> <br />President <br /> <br />~yor J <br /> <br /> <br />
