RESOLUTION NO 7 3 9 8 - 9 9 <br /> <br /> BY: Corrigan, FitzGerald, George, <br />Roth, Seelie, Skindell, Smith <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION commending Lakewood Police Department Captain Alan Clark <br />for his public service in the City of Lakewood, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, upon his retirement effective April 10, 1999, Qaptain Clark <br />completed 33 years of public service in the Division of Police; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, during his tenure with the Lakewood Division of Police Captain <br />C1 .a~7..v~g recognized as a loyal and dedicated employee who rendered ontstanding service to the <br />D~wslon of Pohce and to the entire commumty The performance of hm duties and <br />responsibilities, and his wurking relationships were always characterized by an obvious <br />dedication to getting ~he job well done; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Captain Clark's dedicated interest and devotion to law enforcement <br />h~s had a Valuable effect of effiency and morale on this City and We wish to extend to bim our <br />sincere appreciation for his outstm~ding performance of duty, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the dedicated public service rendered by <br />Captain Alan Clark be given public cognizance and recognition. <br /> <br /> NOW~ THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, <br />STATE OF OHIO' <br /> <br /> Section 1 That this Council and Mayor, hereby extend to Captain Alan Clark its <br />appreciation and that of all of the citizens of this community for his 33 years of public service <br />for the City 9f Lakewood and further that this Council and Mayor wish him continued years of <br />health, happiness and prosperity in his retirement <br /> <br /> Section 2 That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized and directed <br />to forward a certified copy of this Resolution to Captain Alan Clark and that a copy of this <br />Resolution be spread upon the minutes of the meeting <br /> <br />Adopted: ~)//?~ /~, /FFff <br /> <br />PRESIDENT <br /> <br />Approved: ~ A/'~ ~ 0 I, ~ ~ -- <br /> <br />~OR <br /> <br /> <br />
