RESOLUTION NO, 7400-99 BY: Corrigan, FitzGerald, George, <br /> Roth, Seelie, Skindell, Smith <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION honodng Educators Music for forty-five years of serving <br />the musical needs of Lakewood residents. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS. this year marks forty-five years of operation of Educators <br />Music in the City of Lakewood; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Educators Music was founded by John Stavash and his <br />panner and wife, Eleanor Stavash; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Educators Music is committed to meet the musical needs of <br />the residents of Lakewood and Northeast Ohio: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, through the establishment of a museum of antique musical <br />instruments, Educators Music has ensured the preservation of musical history; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Educators Music .has been a positive contribution to the <br />quality of life in Lakewood; now, therefore. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1. That Educators Music be honored by this formal Resolution <br />in order to give public cognizance and recognition for forty-five years of meeting the <br />musical needs of the citizens of Lakewood. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2. That the Clerk of Council be and is hereby authorized and <br />directed to forward a certified copy of this Resolution to Mr. ~lohn C.
